At a gala dinner in Ballsbridge on Friday night, we were delighted to spend the evening recognising the fantastic achievements of the Paralympics Team and Support Staff in Rio 2016. This is an important night for the whole team as it acknowledges the work and achievements of everybody associated with the Paralympics Ireland set-up, athletes, doctors, coaches, co-ordinators, fundraisers and the media who actively engage in promoting the sport.
