Owen Sheehy - Managing Partner
FCCAOwen is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and is Managing Partner of McInerney Saunders. He joined the firm in 1991 and was appointed Partner in 2003. Apart from being responsible for the strategic development of the firm, Owen works closely with clients across a wide range of sectors, including hospitality, transport & logistics and professional services.
Susan McKittrick - Partner
FCCASusan is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of Ireland. Susan joined McInerney Saunders in 1991 and is responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients which includes SMEs, International Freight companies, Schools and Publicly Funded Entities. Susan oversees our Accounts, payroll and bookkeeping service offerings and enjoys working closely with start-ups and owner manged businesses interested in growing their operations
Neal Morrison - Partner
FCA AITI (CTA)Neal joined McInerney Saunders as partner in 2004 and has a particular interest in the business advisory and corporate finance areas. Neal has a broad range of experience in adding value to clients through restructuring projects, acquisitions, financial planning as well as overseeing a broad portfolio of audit clients.
Donagh Waters - Partner
FCADonagh is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a Diploma in Forensic Accounting, awarded by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. Donagh joined McInerney Saunders from Deloitte in 2005 and is the firm’s Audit Compliance Partner with responsibility for overseeing the delivery of the firm’s audit and assurance services. Donagh has a diverse portfolio which includes Irish subsidiaries of multi-national groups, Credit Unions, SMEs, Sporting Organisations and Publically Funded Entities. He also delivers advisory services to clients in the areas of due diligence and risk identification and minimisation
John Fitzgerald - Partner
AITI (CTA)John is an Associate member of the Irish Taxation Institute and a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA). He joined McInerney Saunders in 2008 and currently manages the firm’s taxation services. John formerly worked in industry where he managed and owned a number of retail outlets. John has several years of experience in dealing with all elements of taxation including corporate and personal tax compliance, Revenue Audits and advising on property investment and development transactions. John works extensively with both domestic and international commercial entities to ensure they are compliant with their Irish tax obligations and that proposed transactions are structured appropriately.
Declan Gray - Partner
FCADeclan is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. He was the Principal of Declan J Gray & Co until his firm merged with McInerney Saunders during 2017. Declan specialises in advising small and medium sized businesses, with a particular niche in the hotel and restaurant sector.
Ruth Brereton - Director
FCCARuth is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and also holds a Diploma in Insolvency and a Certificate in Personal Insolvency from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. She is a Director in our Advisory Department, having previously played a leading role in our Insolvency and Recovery Department. Ruth has a particular speciality in helping businesses grow and increase their value through her strategic input and advice. Prior to joining McInerney Saunders Ruth operated as a Financial Controller in Industry.
Darragh Henry - Audit Director
FCADarragh is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a Diploma in IFRS. He joined McInerney Saunders in 1997 and has since been appointed as a Director within the Audit and Accounts Department. Darragh has significant experience of carrying out audit and advisory engagements for Credit Unions, freight companies, pharmacies, manufacturing companies and property management companies.
Deirdre McGinley - Audit Director
FCADeirdre is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and has overall responsibility for managing our audit resources. She trained with EY and later worked with a medium-sized practice. Deirdre joined McInerney Saunders in 2015 and has since been appointed as a Director within the Audit and Accounts Department. Deirdre has significant experience of managing audit engagements across a range of sectors.
Jacqueline Murphy - Tax Director
ACA CTAJacqueline trained in Deloitte qualifying as both a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and later a CTA (Chartered Tax Advisor)progressing to the role of Manager in the Corporate Tax department. She then joined Declan J Gray & Co as Tax Director, a small practice where she provided audit, accounting and taxation services to a range of small to medium sized companies, sole traders and individuals. In 2017 she joined McInerney Saunders in the role of Tax Director where she is responsible for tax compliance and providing tax advisory to both individual and corporate clients.
